The Body Shop’s Tea Tree Oil Control Shampoo contains Community Fair Trade tea tree oil from Kenya, renowned for its natural purifying properties. Tea tree oil has always been the go-to ingredient for oily and acne-prone skin, which is why The Body Shop loves using it in their Tea Tree skincare range. We work with independent farmers in Kenya who steam-distill the tea tree leaves within 12 hours of harvesting, ensuring the purest and most potent oil is bottled. Each 20ml bottle of tea tree oil requires approximately 15,000 tea tree leaves to produce.

This shampoo contains 93% natural-origin ingredients and is certified by The Vegan Society, including organically-grown Community Fair Trade tea tree oil from Kenya.
