Based on our latest research into breast milk and early childhood nutrition, our most advanced follow-on formula, Aptamil Profutura DUOADVANCE 2, has been developed. Its unique composition makes it our most innovative formula. It is suitable as an accompaniment to complementary feeding, in combination with breast milk, or for the period after breastfeeding.

Aptamil Profutura DUOADVANCE 2 contains vegetable oils without palm oil and no starch.

Aptamil Profutura DUOADVANCE follow-on formula sets new standards for Aptamil follow-on milks with its patented formula: our special combination of nutrients with our innovative and unique Lactofidus® process and our highest content of human milk oligosaccharides. This special composition makes it our most innovative and best formula. Accompanying complementary feeding, it is suitable in combination with breast milk or also for the time after breastfeeding.

In addition, the immuno-nutrients vitamin C&D3 support your baby’s immune system, which is still developing significantly until the age of 3. In addition to DHA3 and ALA3 (omega-3 fatty acids), Aptamil Profutura DUOADVANCE 2 contains the omega-6 fatty acid ARA.

Our unique Lactofidus® process
Our gentle Lactofidus® process produces L-lactate and 3’GL, a human milk oligosaccharide (HMO), amongst other things. Our unique process uses natural lactic acid bacteria that positively “pre-digest” a portion of the milk during the manufacturing process.

Human Milk Oligosaccharides (HMOs)
Our unique Lactofidus® process in Aptamil Profutura DUOADVANCE follow-on milk produces, among other things, L-lactate as well as 3’GL, a human milk oligosaccharide (HMO). In addition, our patented formula is enriched with another HMO, 2’FL.*

Human milk oligosaccharides occur naturally in breast milk and are its third largest component by volume (after fats and lactose).

2’FL is also the HMO that makes up the largest proportion of HMOs in breast milk**. HMOs are particularly valuable because they enter the intestine undigested.
